What a gamified to-do list does once it is installed

Dovilo attaches the game to finishing the work, not to planning it. Every task you complete and every focus session you run pays out in bricks, and bricks are the only currency in the Market, where you buy the houses, offices, parks and roads you then place yourself on an isometric grid. The city is the record of what you actually got through, which is what makes it worth opening on a day the list is not.

Four things live in the one app. Tasks carry due dates, repeats, reminders, stars, flags and your own lists, behind a single view picker holding My Day, Important, Planned, Flagged and every custom list with a live count. Focus runs in three shapes — one session of any length from 1 to 180 minutes, a Pomodoro cycle of 25 minutes with a 5 minute break and a longer break every 4 rounds, or a session bound to one task — and the timer keeps counting while the app is backgrounded or the phone is locked. Ambience fills the screen for the length of a session: six scenes, and up to three sound layers blended at once out of sixteen. It is ambience rather than music, so there is no melody or beat to follow. AI tasks are a separate list you keep for coding agents, which Dovilo Desktop serves over a local MCP server.

All of it is offline-first: tasks, focus history and the city sit on the device, and no internet connection is needed to use the app. Cloud sync is optional and comes with Pro. There are no ads on any tier, the app ships in English, Turkish, Spanish, French and German, and both the dark and the light theme are free.

Which download you need

The mobile apps are the free ones, and free here is the whole product rather than a trial: a download from the App Store or Google Play gives you full to-do management, unlimited single and Pomodoro focus sessions, the silent Default ambience scene, city building, both themes and no ads. The desktop apps are the Pro half. They carry two task surfaces on a full-size screen — full to-do management for your own list and AI task management for your agents, with focus sessions and the city staying on mobile — and they are the only builds with the local MCP server and the signed webhooks, so they need an active subscription, which you start in the mobile app.

Mobile and desktop run on separate version lines, so their numbers are not meant to line up. The current mobile release is 1.2.0, from 9 September 2026; the desktop entry on the release notes page is read live from the releases repository, so it is never a version behind, and every earlier desktop build stays tagged there. This page is only for the first install: nothing here has to be fetched twice.

What is free, and what Pro adds

Pro is $2.49 a month, $19.99 a year or $49.99 once, and it begins with a 7-day free trial you start in the iOS or Android app. It adds cloud sync across devices, the Windows and Mac desktop app — full to-do management plus the AI task management it serves over MCP and webhooks — both one-time packs — the Focus Ambience Pack and the Full City Package — advanced statistics, smart notification management and priority support. The same subscription is what unlocks Desktop, so the desktop app is never a separate purchase.

Two one-time packs sit outside the subscription: the Focus Ambience Pack at $4.99, which adds the five atmospheric scenes and the twelve sound layers, and the Full City Package at $4.99, which adds every building, decoration and upgrade. Neither is a subscription, and Pro already includes both. AI task packs start at $0.99 for 10, 30 or 75 extra agent tasks, and they never expire. Prices are the USD store baseline; each store applies its own regional pricing.
